MCHS Grizzly Experience The special movie event, "The MCHS Grizzly Experience," featuring a number of MCHS graduates and teachers talking about what they have accomplished post-high school, was well-received at the 2022 picnic, and is still available. People can purchase copies of the DVD and or HD Thumb Drive at the Mariposa History Center and Museum, or the DVD at the Visitor Center; and on the Rotary web site. Prices for the DVDs are $15. HD thumb drive is $20 and includes the full movie plus "Ranchers and Packers" (about our cattle industry) and "Murder Most Suspect” a comedy mystery that was a hit at the Taste of Mariposa. Centennial Celebration 2014 MCHS observed 100 years of service to the youth of Mariposa County in 2014. The official celebration took place on October 24 and 25, and included the Parade of the Decades and a Grizzlies football game at the fairgrounds on Friday, an open house at the school on Saturday, and a dinner dance at the fairgrounds Saturday night. Read Tom Phillips early history of the school here. On March 26, the Matuca Chapter of E Clampus Vitus dedicated a plaque at the school in honor of the centennial.
